Ken Caryl Residence

Set in a beautiful location at the very base of the foothills in Ken Caryl Ranch, the family wanted to stay in the home but desired significant modifications that called for remodeling the entire first floor and adjacent lower level. The design was driven by a recreated original craftsman truss and millwork that activated the large volume ceiling located on the first floor. This dynamic re-design transformed a fairly common suburban home into a feature place to live. The project created a flow of spaces that successfully connected the split levels with a high end aesthetic, despite a slightly modest budget.
