400 E. Third Avenue Condos
This 17-story condominium building took several years to design and build. Although it was originally planned as a 125 unit apartment building, during construction it was converted into 75 units of condos for sale. A floor of underground parking spaces and post-tension construction made the conversion particularly challenging, but its success lays in how it connects to its location. Sitting on the edge between downtown Denver and a warm, 100 year old urbanist, residential neighborhood, the design reveals a balance between the needs of modern city life with its warm family setting. This project is from one of our partner’s portfolio of experience prior to founding Venture, while practicing at a firm that is no longer active. Attentively built by The Weitz Company, it serves today as a successful contribution to Denver’s goals for a 21st Century sustainable, walkable, and livable city.
